But he questions whether that is what Trump was actually referring to.Instead, he thinks Trump may have been signaling support for the status quo, in which Israel continues to occupy the West Bank, as it has since 1967.“What we’re hearing from Trump today is that he’s open to that, and that he doesn’t expressly reject the status quo,” Munayyer told VOA.
