You asked, and we heard you. We are excited to announce the US Campaign for Palestinian Rights’ new boycott, divestment, and sanctions (BDS) organizing toolkit and three-part introductory video series!

BDS 101: What is BDS & How Does it Work? – The first short video covers the basics of BDS, what makes the strategy so effective, and some of the tremendous accomplishments to date.

BDS 101: How to Prepare Your BDS Campaign – This second video outlines how to pick the right target, bring together a healthy coalition, set goals and a timeline, and more.

BDS 101: How to Win Your BDS Campaign – The final video covers launching your campaign, strategic tactics to pressure your target, keeping your campaign energized, resisting repressing, and… what to do after you win!

Have you been wanting to start a BDS campaign? Or, are you a seasoned activist looking for a good resource to share with others? Is someone you know confused about what BDS is? These new resources are for you!

Download the toolkit here, and watch/share the videos!

Our three short videos are short and to the point, but packed full of information to help new and veteran activists move BDS campaigns forward. And if videos are not your style, the BDS toolkit covers it from A to Z!

The toolkit and videos are just the latest materials from our 2017 political education curriculum, Together We Rise: Palestine as a Model of Resistance. The curriculum is designed to help deepen analysis and skills as we work for justice from the US to Palestine, and beyond.

Today, legislators are attempting to stifle BDS through top-down, draconian measures, like the Israel Anti-Boycott Act, precisely because of how powerful, effective, and unstoppable these grassroots campaigns have become. BDS continues to pose a direct, nonviolent challenge to Israeli apartheid – and Israel and its defenders know it.

The writing is on the wall: BDS is the way forward for freedom, justice, and equality.
