This is amazing! Yesterday 32 Members of Congress sent a letter to the State Department supporting Palestinian human rights defender Issa Amro.

As you’re probably aware, Issa faces 18 charges in an Israeli military court for his nonviolent activism against illegal settlements in the city of Hebron.

This powerful letter casts doubt on Issa’s ability to receive a fair trial, noting that Palestinians are convicted in Israeli military courts at the astounding rate of 99.74 percent.

The letter also defends the right of Palestinians like Issa to protest against Israeli military occupation and settlements and calls on the US to urge Israel to reconsider its charges against Issa.

This is the largest number of Members of Congress who have ever stepped forward collectively to support Palestinian human rights.

We can’t emphasize enough how important it to thank these Members of Congress. Please sign our petition of thanks right now!

Thank you for your activism and for taking action today to support these Representatives taking a stand for Palestinian human rights.

Sincerely,
