Maria LaHood is Deputy Legal Director at the Center for Constitutional Rights, and is on the advisory board of Palestine Legal and the US Campaign for Palestinian Rights. She currently represents Palestinian rights advocates in the U.S. facing suppression of their advocacy, including in cases such as Davis v. Cox, defending former Olympia Food Co-op board members for boycotting Israeli goods, and Awad v. Fordham, seeking to compel Fordham University to recognize Students for Justice in Palestine as a student club.
