Portland, OR: Nakba Day March

May 15, 2018 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Please Join us on May 15th, Nakba Day, for a March from PSU’s Native Student and Community Center to Legacy Emanuel Hospital in support of the people of Gaza’s Great March of Return and for the rights of all Palestinians to return to their ancestral homelands، the end of the Gaza blockade and the end of the occupation

We will be stopping at various points along the way to recognize sites of structural oppression both in Portland and in Palestine.

The event will culminate in a potluck for the beginning of Ramadan at Dawson Park by Legacy Emmanuel Hospital.

Please join us for all or part of this walk. Please wear only black, bring a suitcase as a symbolic item, food to share for dinner and good walking shoes.

For those who are physically unable to walk this distance, we’ve provided the times we are going to be at the locations and you are welcome to join us as you are able.
