Divest, Resist, Repeat: Tax Day of Action on April 15

This Tax Day, we call on people of conscience living in the U.S. settler colonial state to resist.

Where our AIPAC-bought politicians have fueled genocide, supplying Israel with endless weapons and refusing our demand for an arms embargo, the people must intervene!

We must fight to move dollars away from the genocide machine at every level, from the bottom up—starting in your local community.⁠

How To Take Action On Tax Day

Your tax dollars are paying for deadly bombs to massacre tens of thousands of Palestinian people and destroy our Earth. As Aaron Bushnell said, “This is what the ruling class has decided will be normal.”⁠ Here’s what the working class can decide to be normal this April 15 Tax Day:

• Start or ramp up a divestment campaign in your community, whether at the city, county, state, or university level.
• Canvass in your neighborhood to recruit support. Ask your neighbors what they wish their taxes were funding in their community instead.
• Speak at City Council with your new comrades.
• Wheat paste flyers to spark conversation.⁠

Demand that your local government #DivestNow from weapons manufacturers, complicit corporations, and Israel bonds. Shake up the status quo. Build toward long-term wins. Repeat this across the country until it becomes too costly to do business with genocide. Keep going until we #StopArmingIsrael once and for all—locally, nationally, and internationally. Keep going until Palestine is free.⁠
