Disrupt Genocide Profiteering

Part of the Stop Gaza Genocide toolkit

As Americans in the belly of the beast, it is our moral duty to stop the genocide machine fueled by our tax dollars. Here are seven ways to do your duty to humanity:

1. Look it up: How much of my tax dollars fund genocide?

Every year, the U.S. government writes Israel a blank check for at least $3.8 billion. In 2024, the U.S. sent at least $17.9 billion in military funding to Israel. With your federal U.S. tax dollars, the Israeli military has been bombing Gaza and wiping out entire families, and lining the pockets of weapons manufacturers who produce these deadly weapons here in the U.S.

Find out how much people in your city pay through their federal tax dollars, and what could be funded instead. See the Not My Tax Dollars map from our sister organization USCPR Action.

2. Find a protest near you at uscpr.org/protest

Your rage belongs in our streets. Make lots of noise, and bang pots and pans to sound the alarm on forced starvation. Text all your friends and invite them to come too.

Find an action near you on our protests page, which we’re constantly updating in real time.

Know a pro-Palestine protest not on this list? Tell us about it by filling out this quick form:

3. Storm Chevron’s social media

Chevron runs fossil gas extraction and pipelines off the shore of Palestine, making it a major partner in Israel’s genocide against Palestinians in Gaza, Israeli energy apartheid, the illegal military blockade on Gaza, and the exploitation of Palestinian land and resources.

Join thousands around the world in storming Chevron’s Instagram account (@chevron). Flood their comments with messages demanding they stop fueling genocide in Palestine and environmental destruction globally.

4. Call Maersk during business hours

Disrupt the weapons pipeline facilitated by genocide profiteers like Maersk. Maersk is one of the world’s largest shipping and logistics companies, directly responsible for transporting military cargo to Israel for genocide.

Find the phone numbers to call Maersk on Palestinian Youth Movement’s Mask Off Maersk website. You can organize your own phone blockade to jam the lines, or flyer and poster during high traffic times and areas. Watch USCPR’s Mask Off Maersk Power Hour, which tells you exactly how to join and even host a phone blockade.1

5. Wheatpaste flyers around your neighborhood

Wheatpaste flyers around your community (just make sure to check local laws, which may vary). This is a great way to get out your message locally, whether you’re calling out U.S.-funded genocide or a BDS target.

6. Create a light projection

You can also broadcast a light projection with your message at night on the side of a building or other large blank flat surface. This works best if you have a good projector, and if you can rent a generator to power it. See examples.

7. Drop a banner

San Diego, CA

Drop a banner over a highway or local hotspot. Make it large and bold so everyone can see your demands from a distance. Ensure that your banner is secure for safety and a long-lasting message.
