Find a Protest Near You at uscpr.org/protest

Hit the streets, and join a protest in your local community. Text all your friends and invite them to come too. Find an action near you on our protests page, which we’re constantly updating in real time.

Organizing a protest? Host your own creative action in your community, such as a walkout, sit-in, pray-in, die-in, disruption, or other demonstration. Make a plan to amplify your protest and your demands far and wide, from local media coverage to social media posts. Read this Media for Actions Guide.

Plan a protest, demonstration, or creative action for one of these upcoming days of action:

Fight media censorship

Here are ways you can take action on media bias and censorship.

  • Call NBC News, Washington Post, and NY Times to demand widespread media coverage of the genocide and Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya’s abduction.
  • Text news outlets on Signal: NBC 646-858-9310, MSNBC 646-419-0218, NY Times 646-951-4771, and ABC (347) 544-2603.
  • Call your local media stations and individual journalists to demand they cover this news story.
  • Ask media workers to take collective action and advocate to their bosses. If corporate media outlets won’t listen to us, at least their workers will. People are on the right side of history and justice. Tweet at @NYTimesGuild@msnbcunion, and @wemakenpr.
  • Plan your own action outside a media office to protest the media blackout on Palestine and call out genocide complicity.
  • Hold a vigil for the 220 Palestinian journalists and 1,053 healthcare workers who Israel has systematically murdered since Oct. 2023. Read their names, display their photos, and share their stories.

U.S. Medical Students: Email your deans and administrations urging them to call for the freedom of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, his medical staff, and patients. You can use this template.

Print a Protest Sign

Print a sign to take along to your protest. You can download any of the protest signs in this folder, which are free to use. You’ll find USCPR protest signs, as well as signs by artists who’ve granted their permission for printing them for protests. Also see the protest art collection bit.ly/Pal-Art.

You can also show your support by talking about Palestine, flying the Palestinian flag, wearing a keffiyeh, and putting up a yard sign at your home.

Hold a Children’s Action

Palestinian children held a press conference outside of Al Shifa Hospital in Gaza on Nov. 7, 2023. Palestinian poet Mosab Abu Toha has called for children’s actions around the world. Mobilize your community in solidarity with Palestinian kids year-round. Take action with this toolkit.

Use the Palestinian Children’s Action toolkit.

Print an Action Flyer

Print these Stop Arming Israel or Not My Tax Dollars action flyers to hand out at protests, and ask supporters to use the QR codes to take action in real time.

Download the action flyers.

Hold a Vigil

Mourn, pray, and hold space for grief together to honor all of our martyrs killed by Israel. In their memories, you can read out their names, share their stories, or display their photos with candles and tea lights. Close with a strong call-to-action.
